FAST ATLANTIC CROSSING.
COMMERCIAL SURVEY FLIGHT

The fastest east to west air crossing of the North Atlantic recorded so far during the present series of commercial survey flights was accomplished on Friday by the Imperial Airways longrange flying-boat Cambria, which left Foynes,' Ireland, and landed at Botwood. Newfoundland, after a flight of 14 hours 24 minutes at an average speed of approximately 140 m.p.h.
