SCOTTISH INGLESIDE.

Outstanding success attended the Manawatu Scottish Ingleside in the Cosmopolitan Hall on Saturday evening. Seating accommodation was in short (supply owing to the capacity attendance. Air Dan Reid’s accordion band supplied, bright old-time music to the satisfaction of all. Alany of the Pipe Band members were present in full regalia, and Pipers Nicholson and Patterson supplied music for an extra waltz. Accompanied by Miss June Scott, Miss L. AVills proved very popular with her tap dancing numbers. The winners of the Alonte Carlo waltz were Aliss Holland and'Air Bryant. Piper Cooper was the AI.C. Air Jenkinson drew the attention of the gathering to the charity dance which the society is to conduct in the A. and P. Hall at an early date. Various charitab'e institutions of the city have benefited from this source during past years and it is the intention of the society this year to make the contributions as substantial as possible.
