“DOPED RACEHORSE.”
AUSTRALIAN REPORT. INTEREST IN GERMANY. The secretary of the Western Australian Turf Club has received a letter from the secretary of the Commonwealth Department of -External Affairs, stating that tho German criminal police were making inquiries concerning a newspaper report in which it was stated that the racehorse Big Head, which was leading at a meeting at Helena Yale, suddenly fclll dead, and that a subsequent post mortem revealed large quantities of cocaine and heroin in the horse's stomach.
The German police ask for confirmation of tho report, and state they would appreciate an account of praetcial experiences of doping, of racehorses, as it is intended to institute investigations. on the subject in Germany.
