SUNDAY CONCERT.
There was a large and appreciative audience at the State Theatre, last evening, when a most enjoyable concert in aid of the Palmerston North Garrison Band was presented. The items were given by Miss Dykes’s party (Napier) action chorus ; Patricia Over, action song; Agnes Upton (Napier), humorous recital; Dawn and Betty Olsen, character duet; Valerie McCombe (Hastings), character recital; Hope Belfit, song; Stella Chambers (Napier), character song; Frank Jenkins, recital; Miss Dykes (Napier), song; Olwyn Stidolph, character recital ; Patricia Over, character dance; and Miss Jean Scott’s pupils.
