ANNUAL MEETING. The annual meeting of the Taikorca Co-op. Dairy Co., Ltd., was held at the factory yesterday, Mr S. E. Algal' presiding. In reviewing the past season’s operations, the chairman said that the result must he considered most satisfactory, the increase in cheese manufactured being 4OJ tons. By careful management the costs had been kept down and the company was able to pay, with the bonus, ]4.52d for the year for all butteri'at supplied. Mr Algar spoke of the assistance rendered by the officers of the Dairy Division in connection with the repairs made at the hegining of the year. The local trade enjoyed by the company was of considerable value, and cheese made at Taikorca was much sought after; The prospects for cheese were - particularly bright, and dairy farmers situated handy to a. cheese factory would be wise to supply for cheese, he added. The staff had worked well; and Mr Algar concluded by expressing thanks to the manager, staff, and directors and suppliers. The balance-sheet and auditor’s report were adopted and the payment of the bonus confirmed.

Messrs S. E. Algar arid D. E. Johnston, retiring directors, were re-elected, and Mr It. H. Spencer re-elected auditor.

The chairman advised that furthei supplies of milk were assured for the new season. , The meeting was closed by a vote of thanks to the chairman, directors and staff.

At a meeting of the directors held at the close of the annual meeting Mr Algar was re-elected chairman.
