1000 MILES COMPLETED. LONDON, July 21. Ferris, who cycled from Land’s End to John o’ Groats, after a short rest carried on and completed 1000 miles in 2 days 22 hours 45 minutes, beating Opperman’s record by 3 hours 7 minutes.
