PAHIATUA.
PAHIATUA, July 20. Mr and Mrs C. E. Taylor and party, from Feilding, entertained in the Methodist schoolroom recently. Mr W. A. Carthew, circuit steward, extended them a welcome. Mr Taylor, who is district secretary for foreign missions in the Hawke’s Bay and Manawatu area, gave a short talk, as did Mrs Taylor. Miss Taylor then recited. Rev. J. H. Allen also gave a talk. Mr Taylor conducted a meeting at Mangamaire. The selector (Mr R. J. Smith) lias chosen the following Bush senior Rugby team to play Dannevirke:—D. Wolland, W. Twentyman. Riddell, S. Wollaiul, Stringfellow, McSherry, E. Lett, Bailey, Spring, Upston, Failover, Verry, Harvey, Aitken. D. Luke. Reserve’s. McNeil and R. Smith ■ (backs), Woddell and A. Hirst (forwards).
