(From Our Own Correspondent.) SANSON, July 20. There was a good attendance at, the weekly practice of the Sandon I able tennis Club. The . winners of buttons for the week were:—A - grade (Williams Button), Miss M. Butler and R. Meyer (tie); B. grade (Meyer Button), E. Butlci J C grade (Lnmsdcn Button), Keith Lunisdcn, R Bishop and A. Ncshit (tie) : D grade (Matthews Button), Miss J. Butler and R. Davey (tie). The following players wi 1 represent the local club in a friendly' match against a MfU’ton team at Marton on Wed* nesday night: A team. A. C. Matthews, R, IT. Meyer, Miss M. Butler, N. S. Butlor, G. There was only a fair attendance at the weekly shoot of the Sandon Miniature Rifle Club last evening, when a match, married men v. single men, was shot, lhe married men won, the scores being, married 927, single 922.
