VISIT TO 16 COUNTRIES.

SIR W. HUNT RETURNS. TRAVEL BY AIR. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, July 20. Sir William Hunt, a member of the Meat Board, returned to-day from Sydney after spending two and a-half weeks in Australia and five and a-half weeks in England, and making visits to 16 different countries'. He travelled between England and Australia both ways by air and the trip included calls at Athens, Brindisi, Rome and Marseilles. From Alexandria to Southampton Sir William travelled on board one of the Imperial Airways new flying boats such as will be coming to Australia within 12 months. “They are really wonderful machines,” he said, “and there is no reason why they should not be used in the projected extension of the service to New Zealand.” Of his air travel as a whole, he said it was a worth-while experience, and he enjoyed every minute of it. He was absent altogether 12 weeks from New Zealand.
