The results of the Rugby matches played, on Saturday, under the control of the Bush Union were: Nireaha beat Ballance by default; Pahiatua drew with Ngaturi 3 all; Hukanui .32 beat Makuri 0; Marima forfeited to Eketahuna Old Boys. The Bush basketball representatives beat the Dnnnevirke challengers, for the Oxley Shield, by 10 goals to 0.
