A Dunedin message states fliat Arthur Richardson, the husband of the woman fatally shot .at Otnkia on Saturday, who was taken to hospital himself with gunshot wounds, has been placed on the dangerously ill list. A sentence of one month’s gaol ,an<J suspension of lvs 1 cense for two years was imposed bv Mr E. L. -Walton, S.M.. on a Maori, Hati Nenia. aged 56, who pleaded guilty at Gisborne to being intoxicated while in charge of a car. —Press Association.
