SIX-DAY RACE TO BRITAIN

LONDON, July 18

British motor-cyclists won the international six-day race over mountainous Welsh roads. There were 200 starters. England and Germany were the only finishers. V. Brittain (Norton), G. Rowley (A.J.S.) and William Wayeott (Veloeette), completed the distance with a total saving of 39 minutes, 17 seconds in their schedule time, beating the Germans by 10 seconds.
