OLD BOYS WIN.
THIRD GRADE MATCH
Owing to Massey College having defaulted to United in the junior division, the third grade match between Old Boys and Feilding High School provided the curtain-raiser at the Showgrounds oval. Showing better combination among the backs, Old Boys won by 17 points to 5- K. M. Smith scored for Feilding High School from an opening made by Thurston and To Puiiga converted. For Old Boys, Boniface, Nicholls, Davidson and Thompson each scored tries. Jeffree converted 0110 and kicked a penalty goal.
