FEILDING SALE.

The N.Z. Farmers' Distributing Co., Ltd., report on the Feilding sale us foplows:—Stock of all classes came forward in excess of advertised numbers. A heavy offering of fat sheep met with a steady rale, but prices, except for extra prime lots, were hardly up to last week’s rates. In t lie store .sheep section some exceptionally good lines of lamb ewes and lambs wore submitted. Buyers were present in force from the Taranaki and Main Trunk lino districts, and prices all round showed a coni-iiderabic rise, in-lamb owes being up by 2s to 3s and lambs Is 6d to 2s on late rates. Daily cows and heifers close to profit were again in strong demand, prices firming on last week. Our entry of beef, all ex dairy, was smaller than usual, with no alteration in prices. Boner cattle were fully firm on late rates. Quotations: Kat lamb's, prime, 24s 3d, 24s lOd, 25s 6d to 26s 9d; lighter, 21s 3d to 23s 6d; prime heavy ewes, 31s 4d to 31s 7d; prime, 28s to 29s 4d; light, 24s 6d to 265; plain, 21s to 22s 9d; Jat wethers, light, 33s 5d to 34s 8d; 6-yr ewes in lamb to Down rams, 28s to 29s 6d; mixed aged ewes in lamb to Down rams, 30s to 535; 2-tooth ewes, r.w. S.D. rams, £2 3s to £2 4s; 2-tooth ewes. r.w. Romney rams, £2 3s; best ewe hoggets. 33s 6d to 365; medium, 28s to 30s 3d; best wether hoggets, 23s to 24s Id; good, 20s to 21s 6d; medium sorts, 16s to 16s Id; ewes, 10s 6d to 13s; 2-tooth wethers. 24s 6d to 26s 3d.
