Per Press Association. DTTNEDTN. July 19. Thei'e was a light list for the Supreme Court, which opened this morning. The only case for trial was that against Ebenezer Thomas Lindsay of negligently driving a car, causing death and bodily injury, in which the jury returned a true bill. WELLINGTON SESSION. Mentioned by Mr Justice Reed ns the smallest calendar in AVellington for at least 25 years, the criminal session of the Supreme Court opened to-day with only two cases for trial— alleged cruelty to animals and the other of grave offences. True bills were returned.
