BRAZIL AND U.S.A.
FINANCIAL AGREEMENT. WASHINGTON, July 16. America and Brazil have signed a financial agreement. Tt is understood that it provides for Brazil to purchase gold amounting to 50,000,000 dollars from the United States for the purpose of exchange stabilisation and reserves for her proposed central bank.
