(From Our Own Correspondent.) KELVIN GROVE, July 15. Then) was a good attendance at the fortnightly euchre party. Three lathes tied for first prize, namely, Mrs Fafiela, All's Powell, and Miss Smith: tlie men’s first prize went lo Mr G. Walker, scar.; (lie ladies’ consolation to All’s It. Seolt; and the men’s consolation to Mr N. Laurence. Dancing was held, a professional orchestra supplying the music. Last evening the Kelvin Grove euchre enthusiasts retained the shield for the fifth time. The unsuccessful # visitors this time were from Aokautero. Miss Elsa Grotton, who was the guest of Miss Vera Burr over the week-end lias returned to her home in Linton. The nights have been very cold lately. There is a shortage of gross in file paddocks.
