GIRLS’ HIGH SCHOOL.
A most enjoyable dance was held at the Palmerston North Girls’ High School, last evening, two form rooms with th 9 folding doors thrown open providing an excellent dance hall. Balloons and streamers gave the hall a festive appearance. fifty girls and their partners were present. The principal, Aliss E. E. Stephens, welcomed the guests, other staff members present being Alisses S. J. Robinson, M. P. Pridham, J. AlcLeod, D. Horton, K. Gillies, J. AlcOrae, K. Biraic, C. AVestnn, L. A. Brown, E. Turner and Galvin. Th© Bovs’ High .School hand supplied excellent music, novelty dances adding to the fun. Prize-winners wero Pat Hughes and Ron Taylor (statue dance), Margaret AVilson and F. Atoresby (Alonto Carlo). Air J. P. Stubbs was AI.C. Supper provided by the girls was a pleasing interlude.
