GAS MASKS FOR BRITONS.
EIGHT MILLION AVAILABLE. (British Official AA’ireless.) RUGBY, June 4. It is stated that gas masks for issue to the nublic in the event of emergency are to be stored in all towns or districts which are likely to be subjected to ailattacks. Should an emergency arise they will be distributed to individuals at their homes. About eight million gas masks are now available. GERMAN ARRANGEMENTS. BERLIN, June 6. General Goering announces a “people’s gas mask,” millions of which have been produced secretly and are now available cheaply, providing guaranteed protection against any gas.
