Air C. AViekham, secretary of the Feilding Acclimatisation Society, advises that he has received an intimation from the AVellington society stating that permission has been granted Feilding license-holders to shoot in the AA Tellington society’s district, and also that AVellington license-holders will lie permitted to shoot in the Feilding district until such time as the amalgamation of the two societies comes into effect. The winners of the Swifts Hockey Club’s final euchre evening were:— Ladies, Alesdames King and Holman (first) ; men, Alessrs Howell and AVatson (first). The aggregate winners were Alesdames Janies and Rosoman and Alessrs F. Watson and Al. Grindrod.
