GOLF.
DANNEVIRKE TOURNEY. Tho Dannevirke Golf Club’s tournament was commenced at the Tahoraite course yesterday. It was very wet and windy in the afternoon, but the morning was fair, and though there was a shower the weather improved temporarily. As a result a number of players failed to play up to the form displayed in the first round during the afternoon. The following are those who-qualified for tho championship:—L. A. Reid, 80—80—160; L.
