SECOND DAY WEDNESDAY.
Tho Wanganui Racing Club’s popular iwinnler meeting, which opened to-day, will bo concluded with another excellent clay’s racing on Wednesday next, the King’s Birthday holiday, when undevdoubtedly it will receive strong support froni Manawatu patrons, who will bo ablo to attend tho Rugby football match in tho morning. . . . Increased car parking faculties, single pool betting and a dividend indicator are attractive features of the meeting, apart from tho fact that on Wednesday tho Wanganui Steeplechase, the Juno Hurdles and tho Connolly Handicap (U miles) are to be decided. It should be a. very inteiesting day’s racing.
