At Zagreb: Pallada (Yugoslavia) beat Farquharson (South Africa) 3 —6, 3—6, 6—3, 6—o, 6—3; Puncec (Yugoslavia) beat Kirby (South Africa) I—6, &—O, 6—3, 2—6, 6—4. At Brussels: Delacroix (Belgium) beat Mortensen (Sweden) 6—2, 6—o, 6—3; Scliroeder (Sweden) beat Maeyaert (Belgium) 79, 6—2, 6—o, 6—3.
