MONEY ORDER COUNTER.

CUBICLE TO BE INSTALLED. At the monthly meeting of the Fcilding Chamber of Commerce, on Monday evening, the lack of privacy at the money order counter at the local Post Office was mentioned by Mr G. The work proposed to , be done is as follows: —(1) 'the erection of two tellers’ cubicles and fixing of metal grilles in the money order and savings bank branch; (2) the erection of a toll telephone cabinet in the public space; (3) the replacement of . the present lighting fittings in the public space with six white opal ’ shades. I t inches in diameter, complete , with chains, ceiling rose, and gallery; ■ (4) the fitting tip of pigeon-holes a.nd cupboards under the counter.
