(From Our Own Correspondent.) OTAKI, May 2. Vital statistics for Otaki for May were: Births, European 7, Maori 2; deaths, European nil, Maori 3; no marriage licenses were issued. Mr and Airs Day, bite of To Horn and now of Auckland, nro spending a .holiday •h. Ibis district. Mr and Mrs Wihnol, of Wellington, were recent visitors to Otaki. Miss Joan Williams is on holiday in Auckland as the guest of Airs Cunningliamo, at ono time a resident of Otaki. Mr and Mrs T. Mansell,- and Mr B. Ryder lo,t Otak : to-day on a motor tour of the north. Air and Mrs W. J. Dickson, who have lieen residents of Otaki for the past eleven years, during which time they have made many friends, have secured a farm at Ohaupo, some ninety miles by rail from Auckland, and will leave at an early date for the north. Mr T. Dickson has already left Otaki for Ohaupo.
