The first games for the commencement of the table tennis competitions were held last evening, when two teams from the 'I orrace End Club, B, and C Grades, visited Miison for their first match. The local team proved too stiong for the visitors, although some very close scores resuited, the It Grade winning by 29 games to 7, and the G grade by 25 to 11. llie Kailway Rugby football team playd a friendly match with a team from he United Club on the Miison ground, he score being 3 to nil in favour of the tailwav, the only try being scored by A'.
