NAPIER HOSPITAL.

Per Press Association. NAPIER. June 2. A Royal Commission has been appointed to inquire into the management and administration of the Napier Hospital and it will open its hearing on Monday. June 14. It is expected to last several days. The personnel is: Mr E. D. Mosley, SM„ Sir James Elliott, and Miss Cecilia McKenny, formerly matron of the 'Wanganui Hospital. The extensive order of reference provides for an investigation into the admission and treatment of certain patients, with special reference to an outbreak of infectious disease among the infants in the Shrimpton Ward also matters; relating to the general management of the institution and the question of whether any action on the part of anyone connected with the institution has been detrimental to the discipline of the nursing staff.
