(From Our Own Correspondent.) OHAKEA, June 2. After being closed for an extra _ week owing to a paralysis case in the district, tho restrictions were unexpectedly lifted and the school resumed rather hurriedly on Monday. The course of correspondence work- drawn up by the staff was thus hardly under way when it iiad to bo abandoned. Tlio friends cf Mr .T. Palmer will regret to learn he is an inmate of (lie Palmerston North Hospital, having undergone a minor operation.
