Decorated in a pleasing scheme of green and old gold, tho Raumni Hall was tho scene of tho annual llaumai District Settlors’ Ball. No Settlers’ Ball bad been held for several seasons, and tlie committee, led by their euergotic secretary, Mr J. Montgomery, bad spared no effort. The atendanco was not as large as was expected, but socially and financially the function was a successful one. Supper arrangements wore in the bands of an efficient ladies’ committee.
