MATCHES ON SATURDAY. KIA TOA TO MEET FEILDING. Another attractive programme of matches has been arranged by the Manawatu Rugby Union for Saturday, when there will be two senior games at tho Showgrounds, both commenting at 2.45 p.in. Kia Toa will meet Feilding on the oval, and this should be a virile encounter, while the Massey College team, which promises to play a prominent part in the second round, will have its first real trial of strength ugainst Old Boys on No. 2 ground. This will undoubtedly be an exciting match. Feilding Old Boys will play Woodville at Johnston Park, Feilding. The Manawatu representative side to meet Wanganui on June 9 will bo announced after the conclusion of Saturday’s fixtures. Old Boys will meet St. Patrick’s in a junior curtain-raiser on the oval. The starting time for the third grade match between Old Boys and United has been . changed from 2.45 p.m. to 1.15 p.m. While the Manawatu A team is away at Wanganui on Wedne'sday next, the King’s Birthday holiday, the Manawatu B fifteen will he meeting Horowhenua in a representative fixture at the Showgrounds as a finale to the seven-a-sido tournament which will precede the match on that day, the finals being played early in the afternoon. Alanawatu Rugby, because of the bright exhibitions staged, has been drawing big crowds this season and promises to rise to even greater heights.
