BRITISH ARMAMENTS
SUPPLIES FROM GERMANY. "When applying lor an increase of five tons in the firm’s carrying capacity in a service between Grimsby and Birmingham, Mr Ward, manager of Grimsby Roadways, Ltd., haulage contractors, stated that an extra vehicle was needed to cope with increased traffic in German nuts and holts. He said more than 250 tons, destined for armament-work, were carried from Grimsby each week.
