The keynote of official ednunent in London and Paris is the necessity for keeping calm. The Spanish Government observes similar restraint auc. declined further comment beyond a statement recounting all-the facts to the League. . French newspapers, while hoping the incident is closed, regret that Germany showed a brutal and violent reaction which the Italians wisely avoided over the Palma bombing. The German Press indulges in diatribes against Bolshevism, but the tenoi' of the comments indicates that the official policy likewise is to use the soft pedal, i A Valencia message states that the Government has resumed the offensive on the Guadarrama front guarding Aladrid.
