MOLONEY LEADS IN BATTING AND BOWLING. DUNNING. MOST WICKETS. Ptior to the Lancashire match seven matches had been completed by the New Zealand cricketers, two having been won, one lost and four drawn. Victories were gained over Staffordshire and Cambridge University, while a loss was against Glamorgan, whom the New Zealanders beat in 1927 and 1932. With the three-days’ match against Lancashire finished, three-days matches will follow against Northamp ton. at Northampton, commencing to-day, and against Derbyshire (comity champion), at commencing next Saturday. The fiist Test match will he played at Lord s on June 26, 28 and 29. Averages of the New Zealand team in the fiv-° first-class games completed on the 1937 tour, up to, but not including the Lancashire match, are:— BATTING.
