APPEAL NEAR . ' END. Per Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, June 1. Contributions received by the city treasurer of Christchurch to the King George V Memorial Fund now total £5616. The appeal will officially end on Thursday but it will be about a week after that before the full amount collected in Ghrisbc'rhurch will bo ascertained, for many collection lists have yet to be • received from employees of business firms.
