PAHIATUA.
PAHIATUA, May 31. The annual meeting of the Pahiatua branch of the League of Nations Union was held at tho residence of Mr 11. R. Ogg. Reference was made to the good work done by Rev. and Mrs Warren and Mr C. Smith in decorating a car for the Coronation procession. The election of officers resulted: —President, Mr J. Milne Allen; vice-presidents, Mrs H. Paterson, Revs. Warren and Roberts, Miss McKenny and Messrs J. D. Wilson, A. W. Carthow and A. J. Fairweather; hon. secretary, Miss B. Boyd; committee, officers and Messrs J. D. Wilson, K. L. Warren, J. W. Greaves, and Reid; leader of the study grouji, Rev. Mr Warren. In making the presentation of a volume to Mr Ogg, the retiring president, Mr Warren paid a tribute to him for his enthusiasm.
