(From Our Own Correspondent.) OPIKT, May 30. Mr and Mrs Wisneski arc on holiday. Mrs B. A. Norman lias returned from Masteeton, where she was the guest of her mother, Mrs Hubbard. Air and Airs Dolman have left Opiki to reside inlaihape. Air and Airs Stuart Troy, of Rotorua, have lately come to resido in Opiki. The first of tho monthly social evenings was held in the hall on Saturday, when young and old danced to musio supplied by local talent. _ Among those who played either fho piano or the accordion were Mr Alve, Alesdamcs Claridge. Aliers, and Yitle, and Aliss Sadd. Among those prc.% it were Alesdame9 Cooksley, C. Young. Phillips, Gregory, Krivan, Buglass, Irwin, Yule, Alabey, Miers, Claridge and Simpson, Alisses Henderson, Irwin. Young, Sadd, Alve, Buglass, Aliers. Mabey (2), Southee, Alessrs Buglass, Phillips, Gregory, Olliver, Cooksly, Harris. Gosling, Hodgson, Periwhiti (3), Claridge (3), G. Kay, C. Croad, Miers, Simpson (3), Gregory, Graham, Alve, and many others. ' Novelty dances were won by Airs Simpson and All* Mabey and Airs Simpson and Air E. Simpson.
