THE POPE’S ILLNESS.
ATTACK OF FAINTING. Received June 1, 10.15 a.m. ROME, May 31. It is reported that His Holiness the Pope fainted this afternoon and was unconscious for 20 minutes. He recovered after injections. His inauguration of the Academy of Sciences, and his birthday broadcast were cancelled.
