AIR LINER DESTROYED
ON FIRE IN HANGAR. (United Press Association.—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) Received June 1, 11.15 a.m. KARACHI, May 31. Tlie Imperial Airways air liner Hengist caught fire and was destroyed in its hangar. The cause is unknown. The services to the East will not be affected. FLIGHT ABANDONED. Received June 1, 11.45 a.m. CAPETOWN, May 31. Flight-Lieut. Llewellyn has abandoned his flight from the Cape, and is returning to England in a passenger plane. Details of Mr Llewellyn’s accident appear on page 7.'
