GIFT TO MR BALDWIN.’ SON-IN-LAW’S GENEROSITY. Mr Oliver Baldwin, the Prime Minisister’s son, has revealed that his father’s new house in Eaton Square, London, is “a’ gift to him from a friend, which will enable him to keep his large library in London.” It is understood that the house is the gift of the Premier’s son-in-law, Captain the Hon. Arthur J. P. Howard, wealthy company director and brother of Lord Strathcona. Captain Howard inherited a large part of the fortune of his mother, the late Lady Strathcona, who died eleven years ago.
