MR R. H. NESBITT.
DEPARTURE FOR AUSTRALIA. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, May 30. Mr R. H. Nesbitt, Australian Trade Commissioner in New Zealand, left Wellington yesterday by the Maunganui, and on arrival at Sydney will sever his engagement with the Federal Government to take over the responsibility of chairmanship of the New South Wales Milk Board under tli9 State Government. Mr Nesbitt expressed appreciation of the courtesies accorded him during the three years in which he filled the office of Australian Trade Commissioner. “I trust that as a result of my official life in Now Zealand the feelings of goodwill and friendship from one country to the other may be found to have been more firmly cemented and deeper
ingrained in the hearts of the people. ] will watch with interest the development of New Zealand to see it continue to flourish and prosper and remain a brilliant jewel in the Empire crown.”
