The Daily Mail’s Warsaw correspondent learns that M. Vagodi (former Ugpu leader) last night, was tatally shot in his ceil at Moscow by his successor, Yegov. M. Yagoda had been given an opportunity to commit suicide Out had refused.
• M. Yagoda’s former sweetneart, the actress, Mine. Wanda Rosendorf, tried to see him earlier but was recognised, upon which she drew out her revolver and shot herself.
