TIRITEA
(From Our Own Correspondent.) TIRITEA, April 29. There was a good attendance at a euchre party held at “Bonne View,” the residence of Mr and Mrs F. N. Andrews, last evening" A jolly time was spent and prize-winners were: —Ladies, Mrs Lyall (Palmerston North) ; men, Mr B. Kilsby. The consolation winners were Mrs R. Kilsby and Mr J. Todd (Palmerston North). A competition for a cushion was won by Mr F. Andrews. A. further competition was won by Mr W. Knowles, senr., this prize being a cake-plate. Supper was served by Mrs Andrews and helpers. Mr and Mi's F. Grover, of Pulmerston North, were the guests of Mr and Mrs R. D. Haselden over the week-end. The friends of Mr At. Toms, who has been confined to his bed for several weeks, will bo glad to hear he is now able to got about again. Mr and Mrs G. Ilart and Miss E. Ilart have returned from New Plymouth, where they were on holiday. Mr F. Andrews was a recent visitor to Wellington.
