EMPLOYMENT TAXATION. ON the Ist May there will fall due an instalment of the Registration Levy. The first instillment of the Employment Charge of 8d in the £ on income other than salary or wages derived during the year ended 31st March, 1937, also falls due on the same date. Jt is essential that a declaration of such income he furnished during May by males (including Natives) who have attained the age of twenty years, and women (including Native women) of twenty years or over whose income other than' salary or wages is in excess of £SO. Full information and declaration forms are obtainable at all Moneyorder Offices. Persons who fail to furnish declarations as and when required render themselves liable, on summary conviction, to a fine of £SO. A penalty equal to 10 per cent, of the amount of tax due will be added to any instalment not paid within one month of the duo date. C. E. DOWLANT), ' Commissioner.
