PLEA OF GUILTY.
Per ff’ress Association. TIMARU, April 29. At the Magistrate’s Court to-day, Lionel Francis Grimstone, formerly town clerk of Geraldine, appeared before Mr H. Morgan, S.M., charged with having stolen the sum of £206 19s lOd, the property of the council. After hearing the evidence of Adam S. Hamilton, Government audit. inspector, and Detective Thomas, accused pleaded guilty and was remanded to the Supreme Court for sentence.
