Following are the movements of Union Company freighters engaged in the intercolonial carrying trade: The Gabriella is to load at Newcastle about April 23, completing at Sydney for Napier and Gisborne. The Kaikorai, which left Wellington or, Saturday, is to load at Newcastle next Friday lor Wellington. r j7ie Kairanga is duo at Auckland tomorrow with Newcastle and Sydney cargo. The Kalingo is due at Pieton to-day witli cargo from Newcastle, Sydney and Eden. She will proceed to Wanganui and Greymouth. The Karopo is due at Lyttelton tomorrow with Newcastle and Sydney cargo, her subsequent porta being Dunedm and Bluff. The ICaretu is at Lyttelton, unloading the last of her cargo from Newcastle 1 , Port Stephens, Sydney, Port Kcnibla, and Hobart. She is scheduled to load at New castle about April 28, completing at Sydney, for Blufl, Dunedin, Timaru and Lyttelton. r The Kekcrnngu is undergoing survey at Sydney. The Kiwitoa left Wellington last Thursday for Newcastle. The Omana, having loaded at Adelaide and Edithburg, leaves Melbourne to-day for Auckland, Wellington and Lyttelton. The W’aikouaiti, which is to load at Newcastle to-morrow, will complcto at Sydney for Bluff, Dunedin, Timaru, Lyttelton and Oarnaru. The Waitaki is to leave Bluff to-day for Melbourne,, leaving tliero on Aj>ril 21 again for Bluff, Dunedin, Lyttelton and Wellington. S.S. WANGANELLA. The Huddort Parker intercolonial motor liner Wanganella is due at Wellington on Wednesday from Melbourne and Sydney; and will sail again the following day on her return trip to Sydney and Melbourne. WINTER CRUISE. Encouraged by the very successful cruise to the South Sea Islands which was made by the Monowai last winter, the Union S.S. Co. has announced that, in August of j this year the Maunganui will make a much more extensive trip to the Islands touching. the Cook group, Tahiti, Samoa, and tiie Tonga group, also the Islands of Mooroa and Bora Bora which have never before been visited by a cruise steamer. The Maunganui will start on the cruise from Auckland on Tuesday, August 3.
