AVOODVILLE, March 30. At Mr L. Bryant’s property, at Kumeroa, the annual sports meeting of the Kumeroa-Hopelands Sports Club was held on Easter Saturday. There was a large attendance. Arrangements were in the hands of Mr A. East (president), Mr D. Wareham (secretary) and the committee. Mr R. Burns, of Konini, played the bagpipes for the Highland events.
