WEDDING.

MARSHALL—DUNSTAN

A very pretty wedding was solemnised at the Feilding Methodist Church on February 17, the contracting parties being Joyce Vera, eldest daughter of Mr and Mrs Dunstan, of Cheltenham, and Stanley Evan, second son of Mr E. Marshall and the late Mrs Marshall. Rev. Mr Jones, of Waipawa (brother-in-law of the bridegroom) officiated at the ceremony, while Mr Crump presided at the organ. Entering the church on the arm ot her father, the bride looked charming in her gown of ivory windswept satin. Cut on slim-fitting lines, the gown was vandyked to a yoke of diagonally tucked net, close fitting and finished in deep points over the hands, whilst deep ruffles of net accentuated the shoulder line. Two flared frills just below the knees lent fullness to the otherwise slim-fitting skirt. Short puffed sleeves and a prettily draped neckline were other features or this pretty frock, whilst a headband of pink velvet flowers and a bouquet of pink gladioli and cactus dahlias completed her toilette. A number of friends and relatives were entertained by Mr and Mrs Dunstan after the ceremony. Taking pride of place on the breakfast table was the beautiful three-tiered wedding cake, whfc-h was made by Mrs b. Rowe (sister of the bridegroom). Mrs Dunstan received the guests in a frock of brown and autumn tinted uncrti.shable marocain, her hat being of fine brown straw, and she carried a beautiful autumn tinted bouquet of cactus 'dahlias and gladioli. The bridegroom s •twin sisters, Mesdames Caiman and C. Rowe, also assisted Mrs Dunstan the former wearing an ensemble of blue and white crepe, and a smart blue hat, while Mrs Rowe chose a gown of floral uncrushable crepe, with blue coat and a fawn hat. Mrs Jones, of Waipawa (sister of the bridegroom) was also present, wearing a fawn costume, a pale pink blouse, and a large pink hat. Mr Jones was the toastmaster. _ Later, when Mr and Mrs S. Marshall appeared for travelling, the bride was wearing a very smart navy ensemble, relieved with white; also a navy hat and accessories.
