(From Our Own Correspondent.) COLYTON, Feb. 24. Under ideal weather conditions the Colyton Tennis Club entertained a team from Te Arakura on the homo courts on Saturday. After some interesting play Colyton proved to bo the victors by 12 sets to 4. Afternoon tea was served by the ladies. Details of the scores are as follow, Colyton players being mentioned first:—Men’s singles: A. 0. Simpson lost to J. Lorenscn, 5—6; S. Hockcn beat D. Lower,-6—4; W. Hock.en beat D. Johnston, 6 —3; J. Humphrey lost to K. Thomas, 3—6. Women’s singles: Miss N. Williamson heat Miss J. Bennett, 6 —2; Miss il. Hooker "boat Mrs Hcytliorne, 6—2; Miss W. Wales beat Mrs Johnston, 6—3; Miss P. Porter beat Miss N. Hume, 6—4. Men’s doubles:—A. 0. Simpson and S. Hockcn lost, to D. Lower and J. Lorensen, 2—6; W. Ilockon and J. Humphrey boat D. Johnston and IC. Thomas, 6—5. Women’s doubles: Misses N. Williamson and If. Hocken beat Mrs Haythome and Miss Bennett, '6 —4; Misses Wales and Porter beat, rMs Johnston and Mrs N. Hume, -6—o. Mixed doubles: A, O. Simpson and Miss Williamson beat J. Lorcnsen and Miss Bennett, 6—l; S. Hocken and Miss Hocken lost to D. Lower and Mrs Haythorne, 4—6; W. Hocken and Miss Wales beat Mr and Mrs D. Johnston, 6—4; J.
