BASE METALS MARKET. FRESH SHARP ADVANCE. LATEST QUOTATIONS. (United Press Association.—By Electric Telegraph .• —Copyright.) Received February 23, 12.50 p.m. LONDON, Feb. 22. A renewal has set in of boom buying conditions on the Metal Exchange. Prices have advanced sharply. During the last month the price of copper in London lias advanced by more than £l2 a ton. Lead has risen by nearly £3, and spelter by more than £U a ton. The price of wi during tile same period has risen uy £l9 a ton.
