LONDON’S MEAT SUPPLIES.

MUTTON AND LAMB DECREASE,

Supplies of meat handled at the central markets in London during tho 12 months ended December 31, 1936, show a slight increase in beef and veal, and decreases in mutton and lamb and pork and bacon compared with the figures for 1935, _ according to the official returns received by the Meat. Board. Total supplies of beef and veal were 248,738 tons, an increase of 469 tons.
